Nice little slide out phone. Bought it to replace a worn out LG Cosmos. One disappointment is the lack of picture editing features. Cannot rotate, zoom, or crop pictures. Selected this phone because I thought the larger screen would make picture viewing easier, but without editing controls the larger screen isn't being utilized and pictures are displayed in a smaller size. Great phone, Low volume.

I like the compact design, and full keyboard. The only thing I do not like about it is the low volume, even on speaker. I find that if it is in my pocket, or my wife's purse neither of us can even hear it ring. I even customized a ringtone to attempt to be louder, to no avail.Read full review

Perfect for our needs

It was exactly what my son needed! Talk and text phone with a touch screen (so he’s not completely uncool). When I took it to Verizon for activation it took 2 manager overrides, linking it to one of their old phones (trickery), and being on hold with corporate for 30 minutes. The description said it can be activated up until 12/31/18 but they said it actually went into effect in July. They are completely getting rid of 3G by the end of 2019. So they don’t want to deal with 3G phones at all. It took over an hour total but it was worth it to me. I can rest easy knowing I can contact my son and he won’t be on any inappropriate websites (also able to block all internet access). Love My LG!!

I loved my previous LG Extravert phone and when the screen stopped working and I couldn't find it at any store I was in a panic!! I always check eBay and I found it! Thank goodness! It shipped super fast so I had minimal time without a phone. I took all of 5 minutes to update my account with it and get all of my data transferred! It was brand new and everything came with it just as I purchased my last one through Verizon. Happy Happy Happy! I know one day I will come out of the stone age and get a smart phone but I have access on my ipad anytime so I have no need so why worry over all that expense!? Happy with old school

This is the second LG Extrovert 2 we are replacing, the previous one was still working fine after years, with only one sticky keyboard key, but was showing age and becoming worn...but working fine. Thought as this type of phone is becoming hard to find with the company's push to the "smart phone" and only other options is the flip phone (with no keyboard). So it was time to to extend what we like with this keyboard type phone...as they say if you find something that works for you "stick with it". Excellent Basic Phone

I bought this phone for my sister 4 years ago, and I've wanted to get her a "backup" replacement because she is so hard on electronic devices. I kept expecting her phone to die a violent death as it skid across a parking lot or wherever she'd drop it. (Sometimes the back came out and the battery popped out, but put it back together and it worked like new - NO shattering of the screen either!)
She is not into "smartphones" and just needs a basic phone to make/take phone calls and send/receive text messages occasionally. The slide-out keyboard is super handy and the size of the keyboard makes it easy for her to use. The features are basic (compared to a smartphone) but is exactly what she likes.
