Good, little and simple

I bought this prepaid phone for my mom. She doesn't use it to much much and for the things she does on it is good enough. Its a nice size, not to heavy either. It connects to WIFI...The software runs smoothly, you can use the play store and has a good space amount(8G memory) it has the capacity of adding a micro sd which is great for saving the pictures. Now if you are looking for a phone that take great pics, this is not the phone for you, the from camera its VGA, the pics look blurry depending of the amount of light... The back camera doesn't have an auto-focus shoot, it takes nice pics tho, 5 mega pixel, can expect more.... The GPS or Maps app works great and the other gaming apps as Candy crush or puzzle games do too. This phone is for any person that wants to keep it simple, if you like to have many apps or work using your cellphone as a second PC, this is not for you.
My mother is pretty happy with it, specially when she is not so much into tech. At least she moved forward from a dinosaur phone this little guy. :)Read full review...

Good Value for the Price

I should probably disclose that I bought this for my toddler so she would get off off of my phone.
I put a Magic Jack app on it so she could make wifi calls to other family members while in the house only and it's been a beautiful thing.

The phone is SMALL, but given the fact that it was for a toddler... It is fine.

I am talking about the size of an external hard drive... Small.

So, trying to type on the small keyboard on top of the small screen with adult fingers is "doable," just not "preferable."

If you want it to have a more up to date look and functionality, then I would strongly recommend you purchase the OneClickRoot software and safely root it.

The camera is not good at all, but like I said. It's for my toddler. She really doesn't care... Nor do I.

The battery life on it is pretty good. If you root it, then you can extend it by four hours with apps.

I accessorized the phone with a $15 Ballistic SG0868-M315 case (black and grey or pink and white is available on Ebay too) and a Skinomi Techskin Screen Protector for $6 on Amazon.

All in all, I spent about $45 for the phone, screen protector, and phone case....which in my opinion is pretty good value for what was spent.

I would buy it again for my toddler. And even if she gets bored with it, I definitely feel that it's good enough to keep as a back up phone if my primary phone ever needed to be repaired.Read full review...

Cheap, fast, lots of features, ICS, great antenna and WiFi, clear calls.

The phone is great with many of the new features, like dual core, ICS 4.0.4 (I prefer ICS over Jelly Bean due to the Flash support), Battery life isn't as great as the Motorola Photon 4G but LG actually delivered the Update to ICS as promised (not like MotoFail) and I think the battery on this phone might be a bit old and Sprint is also helping the phone to kill the battery with the horrible service they been delivering lately.
Unlimited Data plan is a twisted joke, because you can barely get 0.11 - 0.36 Mbps in 3G when you get service and 4G LTE is not available or hasn't even turned on once since I been using this phone and I travel all over Miami, Florida.

But the phone itself is overall a good phone, it does gets a little bit hot on the screen and the battery when is used for a long period of time, read about it and it looks like is an usual issue related to this phone, but besides getting a bit hot nothing has happened.

Good entry level smart phone for a low price.

This is a very nice back up or entry level smart phone. Takes very nice pictures and easy to use. The only drawbacks was it took too many steps to use the email and text messages was harder to type than my Iphone. viper 4g lte

Pros: This phone has great speed, limited bloatware, is made from re-cycled material so the phone didn't cost much to the manufacturer to make.

Cons: I HAVEN'T FOUND ONE@!!

Summary: This phone is similar to the LG Lucid that everyone on Verizon has come to love! It has a 5MP camera (not bad, honestly) video chat app you can use with the front facing camera, so you can talk to your friends and family far away. Wireless media streaming (can send the media to any Bluetooth source, and a Micro-SD card slot.

I'd recommend this phone, I can't find a bad thing to say about it. Excellent battery life. When at best buy testing this device, I played with it for almost 20 minutes, and didn't see the battery go down. Was not plugged in and was on YOUTUBE, FB, Apps, all that, and it didn't die. Good buy, mediocre battery, try it out.

It is an amazing smart phone. Works fast and the screen size is pretty much perfect size for me. Although it is all great, the battery life is a drag. Only about 4-5 hours on normal use. Get an extended battery. Has 4G LTE, although i can never get connection for it...it does not come with Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, but there is an update for Android 4.0. Unlike a lot of older android phones, you can screen shot by holding down both volume rockers, which is awesome.

Overall, it is a good, cheap buy. I love the case I got with it too. GIve it a go, although I would recommend something beefier like the Droid Razr Maxx.Read full review...

great phone, thumbs up...

Phone feels solid and well built. Bright screen. Common features are easy to use. Such as on/off, wifi on/off, sound/vibrate/airplane on off...Touch is responsive. Battery life is ok, could be a little better but I can work with it. Side mounted usb cable is a pain, wish it was on the bottom. Phone works great with my car bluetooth , both phone calls and podcasts. I bought mine as a refurb off ebay. If it was a refurb, I sure couldn't tell. It looked brand new. No need to use my Sprint upgrade credit, nor extend my contract.Read full review...

for the money, this phone is a good value

I bought this phone to replace my HTC Design. The Design sucked as a whole, freezing, slow, not enough memory. The Viper was a pleasant upgrade from that phone. I don't think I'll be going back to HTC anymore. If your looking for a reliable phone that's not expensive then this is a good phone. Sprint sells this phone refurbished for $119 free and clear, I think that's a good price instead of $150 to be locked in a 2yr contract or $500 for a phone.Read full review...

Great value!

Great phone for those who don't want to drop hundreds on a Iphone or Samsung Galaxy type. I have bought two of these now, and use them on Ting which is no-contract and Sprint Network, and it's perfect, plenty of features and works well for what it is - a Gingerbread phone (Android). I would advise anyone who buys it to get the longer-life battery and bigger shell case (which can be found for less than $10 on Ebay). Makes the phone look less sleek but it lasts 2 days with moderate use instead of less than 1 day on the original, smaller battery.Read full review...

Awesome condition of the item and the value especialy.

I've enjoyed this item. The only thing that was wrong, is that when I received it was a completely dead battery. Other, than that it was an excellent item and at a bargain too. This cell phone retails at over $400 with Sprint and obtain it much less than that retail price. I've done my research but bidding on this item.It was easy, quick to switch cell phones. I will continue to enjoy this cell phone for years to come. Surprised me that there was an camera in the front and back of cellphone. Also, meant all the needs that this cell phone was intended for.
