LG LHT854 Theater System

I recently had bought an LG LTD TV and did not want to add a Home Theater system but the sound from the TV was not that good. I checked E-bay LG systems and decided on the LHT854 for looks, features and price. It arrived as advertised and was relativly easy to set up. I had to buy one connector which was about $15.00 and was ready for some serious sound. So far I have been very pleased with the sound and quality. The only drawback that I see is trying to adjust sound to lips on some stations. You have to go to the built in DVD player, which entails clicking on another connection, and guessing how much to adjust. This is not a big problem but it would be nice to be able to adjust while actually watching the lips move. Overall I am well pleased with the sound quality and appearance of the speakers. Nice system

I bought this like new home theater system because of of some of the features for a really good price. I especially like the ipod docking system. Not alot of extra bass because it only has an inactive sub but works really good on our second tv. No complaints. You will need to purchase a fiber optical cable for hook up to newer tv.Read full review...

It's a Steal!

I bought this item because I knew I can fix it. I am audio & video tech & sure enough with a few parts & soldering

Nice System

Bought this for my mom, easy setup and plays better than mine that i paid more for. Plays all the disks i put in. And great sound

Go with the next model in line with this system

There is a factory defect for this model. The HDMI will play at the beginning with sound and no picture off and on. All other features work but. The center speaker has two holes that resemble two separate speaker but there is actually only one speaker.Read full review...
