This is the second Timer Module purchased for a Beamswork light. It works great. The roughly translated instructions were a little tough to comprehend, but the fixture itself works better than expected. The timer is set to have blue "moonlight" in the morning and at night, while the white "daylight" is on in between. I would purchase again if needed.Read full review...

Save your money.
Dim lights and not enough! This is in effect putting a 30 watt bulb over your aquarium. The timer instructions are worthless, but the light was even worse, so I did not even think about using the timer. Finally, having the timer and power cord on opposite sides just guarantees wires overhanging the aquarium. This would be overpriced even were it given away free. LED timer
Start off by saying you won’t find a light like this for this price. As for the timer it’s pretty straight forward to program, one channel blue one channel white/spectrum. The one thing I don’t like is if you program it by time it won’t start the cycle till that time comes around. So if you set it up mid day the light will be on till the next morning when the time is set to change the light. Anyway the light and timer works flawlessly, see how long it last.Read full review...

A very nice small easy to use timer. The Instructions provided allowed me to set up the current time/ day light on and off / night on and off. Read the instructions for use! Nice timer. Great for setting day and night times, both on and off. I wish there was a good way to attach it to the light fixture. Great for the tank
After I got my beamworks light is when I found out about the time that hooks up to it. I put it off for awhile, but now I can't imagine not having it. My fish are happier now. Being winter, it is dark when I get home. And I don't what to leave the light on all day and most the night. It's very easy to set. Perfect timer for Beamswork aquarium light
I bought the Beamswork EVO light fixture for my 55 gallon aquarium, and tried using a regular rotary timer to control it. The problem was the timer only turned all the lights on and off. When I read about the Beamswork Timer Module, I bought it right away. It was a snap to install and program! It connects directly to the light fixture, and controls the actinic (blue) LEDs and the daytime LEDs separately. I programmed the actinic lights to come on at dawn, about 30 minutes before the white lights, and in the evening they shut off about 30 minutes after the white lights to mimic dusk. It's much easier on the fish. The blue and green buttons allow you to over-ride the timer as needed. Absolutely a must for Beamswork light fixtures! There are two models of the Timer Modules, so be careful to choose the right one for your fixture model!Read full review...

Perfect Accessory For LED Light
Nice little timer that helps automate your fish tank(s). If you're like me, sometimes I would leave the light on longer than needed which started to cause excessive algae growth. This just plugs in, allowing you to set when it turns on and off. The regular light and the "moonlight" can have separate schedules. Sure, you could use one of the multitudes of plug-in timers but not with the both lights, plus they're usually hard to reach.Read full review...
