Kodak ES M550 (the screen doesnt depict the picture)

I just got a great deal on eBay for this camera in an unopened box. The only thing I am not particularly impressed with is the screen. When you are about to take a picture, it looks fuzzier then the picture itself when you hit the play button. It shows pictures just fine and they look crisp and have great quality, it's just viewing it before the picture is taken that is not exactly up to par. Hopefully the newer models have fixed this.
Also, it doesn't have an optional viewfinder. I don't know about you, but that's always a nice option to have, in my opinion. However, I knew that when I bought it, so make sure you know what you're getting!

All in all, I adore my camera. It takes HD quality photos and has so many incredible options to play with. Never worry about red eyes or flash glare, or even the occasional blue eyes turned black in the picture.
My friend has one of those fancy Canon camera's that cost over $1000 and it still makes my blue eyes turn brown in the pictures! With my Kodak, my blue eyes are just as blue as they'll ever be. It takes gorgeous pictures and I love it.

I trust this brand and it's a great buy if you're on a budget. I just recommend looking for a newer model that doesn't have that fuzzy screen problem, which doesn't hinder you're ability to see what you're taking a picture of, it's just a little bothersome. Great Camera for a Bargain Price. Professional quality at Discount price

I have always been a Fan of HP digital camera's but decided to try Kodak mainly because Kodak has been the leader in camera's since before i was born. Im Glad I did because this is an Awesome Camera. Worth the investment and perfect for Novices. Im not a photography Professional and this was easy to use and took great pictures. Cameras made EASY

Here I am to write a review about my new camera. I must say Kodak is still a leader in cameras in my view. The compact build with telescopic lensing auto focus makes it a breeze.
I think one of my favorite attributes for this camera was the extremely easy plug and play EASYSHARE software and built in feature. The plug and play took very little if any prior knowledge and works wonderfully.
This camera, provides a 12.0 Megapixel 5 time optical zoom for super sharp pics, has a very large variety of options for still frame snaps from panaramic view to close angle moving pics. Awsome! Not to mention the video with mic for sound, (I haven't tried this feature out yet but I'm confident it will be as good as the rest of this cameras capabilities).
Not promoting the seller,(who I would highly recommend if asked), but I was happy to recieve a few extras with the camera, 8mg memory chip, carring case, mini tripod, all cords, charger, battery and even a flash chip, all at an extemely nice price. The Kodak warrenty is easily validated when you register the camera on set up for easy share. How much easier can it get.
We all know how fast electronics upgrade and expand, the next new gadget is coming out as you buy this new gadget, gotta love it. However I believe I'll remain happy with my Kodak for awhile to come for a handy, compact, very easily used camera for everyday use.

Would buy this camera again if I had 2 mom's Fantastic for the price

First, the experience begins with a great seller and beachcamera meet all expectation of a great experience.
I purchased the camera for my mom; she is 79 very active but likes life to be as easy as it can be. This Kodak was great for her.

The ability to zoom in on selected areas of each pitcher while it is still on the camera
The ease on downloading, sorting and mailing is great.
The panorama feature, simply click and move the camera around the room or mountain and capture it all.
The number and ease of using multiple features like, red eye cancel, crisp clear close up for flower or documents such as birth certificates (sent with pictures of new grandson) and many more.

Nice Camera!!!! Great Value For The Price!!!!

I bought this camera thinking that it was be good just to take photo's of the items that I sell on eBay. But this camera has taken some terrific photo's. I really like the fact that it has it's own battery that is plugged into a wall outlet. The size and weight of the camera is perfect. I had tried using my husbands larger digital and it was just to weighty and large for what I wanted. I was quite surprised and pleased with the zoom capabilities. I highly recommend this camera for someone just learning to take photo's or for the person that just takes pictures at parties and such. I'm really pleased with this purchase. My New Easyshare

It was the price and the mega-pixels that caught my eye. Looked at other 12 megapixel cameras for quite a lot more. Not to mention, I've heard good things about Kodak cameras. I really like this camera, it's small size makes it easy to carry along, I can slip it into my purse and almost forget I have it with. Love the larger LCD display. The one thing I personally dislike? No view finder. Dates me, I know, but you CAN get better pictures using a view finder. Holding a camera up to your eye helps to stabilize it in much the same way using a tripod does. However, in every other aspect, this camera beats the heck out of every other digital camera I have owned, so think I can learn to live without the view finder, at least, for now. Any one thinking about an inexpensive digital camera with lots of super features, should think about this one. In the far future, when I decide, or need to upgrade, I will for sure think about another Kodak camera.Read full review...

Kodak EASYSHARE M550 12.0 Megapixel

I haven't gotten to use it much but from what I've checked out it seems to be a very good inexpensive camera. One downfall i have noticed is the lack of an eye viewer which means you have to use the screen all the time which can lead to the battery going dead more quickly although i haven't seen how long the battery will last on a full charge. Absolutely wonderful camera! Bought it for my daughter's 15th birthday, she couldn't take a good enough picture with her cell phone. This camera takes a wonderful picture and has plenty of extras.
