rugged unit with great functionality.
I needed a new multi-meter; my 14 year old one finally bit the dust. In addition to the voltage and resistance measurements, I needed the ability to measure AC current - up to 10 amps. This multi-meter had all the capability I needed (plus additional features I haven't tested yet).
The probes have small fine tips, which make them easy to use without accidentally shorting to adjacent contacts. The only feature I miss is it does not ship with alligator clip probes, which would be helpful - the tips of the included probes are too fine to attach clip leads. They do offer probes with alligator tips and I have those on order.
A nice touch is a hinged plate on the back which makes a convenient stand.

Great meter for home use

In the beginning Batteries did not want to connect, however easy fix.

This is everything worth the money. I 've used my brothers Klein MM400 and it worked great. This led me to purchase my own, I had another brand and it wasn't backlit and sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't.
