Spare links save your day.
Great product, individual packaging keeps the links together and clean until they are needed. These are for 10 speed chains, and are clearly labeled. Do not use them for 8,9, or 11 speed. When you carry these on a ride, you can be the hero when someone breaks a chain. Keep in mind that you still need to carry a chain repair tool, because most chains that break will have pieces stuck in one end of the chain. Missing Links are the bomb for Shimano chains!!!
These links are bombproof and allow you to take the chain off your bike for cleaning and lubing. You can then reuse the link for the life of the chain. Easiest way of dealing with a Shimano chain compared to pressing a pin into a link, then being stuck with the chain on your bike.
