Buy new from this company! Free Delivery, Great Price and of course, a very great Industrial Sewing Machine.
Great Industrial Sewing Machine! The choice was between JUKI and CONSEW! After doing extensive research, JUKI was the machine I chose. The CONSEW is also a great machine but cost a little more. I was looking into a used industrial heavy duty machine but all of them were pick up at location only. Probably spending $200-$300 for gas because the used machines are either on the West or East coast, plus the time traveling. I found this site, brand new, FREE Delivery for a JUKI DDL 8700H, Table, Servo Motor, Thread Holder, intense light etc... H stands for Heavy Duty.
If I have to complain about anything, it is probably the assembly. No Instructions but that is alright. Go to You Tube and they have a complete video on how to assemble and work your JUKI. Overall, a great buy, Free Delivery and a sound quality Machine!

was waffling between this machine and a Consew. Have never used either but wanted something which could replace my clothing machine and still manage the occasional heavy upholstery/leather repair job. LOVE LOVE LOVE this machine. Feels super solid. I loved my old Pfaff metal machine, could talk it into going through leather leashes, etc. but this is in a super duper class. Repaired 2 belts and a bridle the first day it was running. Zero problem. Guess the biggest issue is learning to be careful with the speed control because this baby will stitch!
Table came in pieces but wasn't bad to put together, all holes drilled, everything in the boxes, all fit together. Husband and son fixed the adjustments to suit my short height and seat comfort. Really happy with the purchase.Read full review...

Industry Standard Non-Walking Foot Machine
The Juki 8700 series is the standard for a light weight, non-walking foot industrial. For applications where you need to get into tight spaces for precision work, this machine rocks out. Although a good walking foot machine is practically the go-to industry standard, there are times and places a good non-walking foot is required. For this kind of work, this Juki is the bomb. The 8700H is perfect for heavier nylon, and even leather work before the walking foot is required. So that's a perfect niche for it. With a larger needle size and presser foot height, you can handle these heavier, thicker build-ups with ease.
Machines like these were over 1200 bucks not long ago. So for those of us not doing high volume work, with computer controlled machines, they are now a freaking bargain.
And machines like this will out last you and me put together. I have re-frub'd industrials from the rag trade that still run, well, like sewing machines. The parts are inexpensive and plentiful so keeping it running is pretty easy. You could do a high-speed crash and bend a shaft, order new parts, and be back in business inside a week.Read full review...

Juki ddl 8077H Sewing Machine review.
Pros: It's a wonderful machine
It is fast.
It is quiet.
It will sew through just about any fabric.
The Cons:
It does not have a need down button. You have to move the wheel manually.
It does not have a needle threader.
It only does the lock stitch.
I did buy it for bag making. It will handle anything I put under it including my finger. It's totally worth the money and I will "never" go back to a domestic.Read full review...

I am happy with the Juki 8700 I bought.
The sewing machine was delivered as promised on time. All parts were included, and the machine works well. I watched the YouTube instruction for assembly. Assembly was accomplished in approximately two hours as this was the first time I had assembled a sewing table and placed the 8700 in place. I bought this to sew bags, and it does that, very well. Right out of the box and into the table it will sew! Even comes with a full bobbin for testing. I recommend good needles and good thread to complete the package (gold star also sells these!)

A Great Addition To My Crafting Endeavors
I love this machine! It is the quietest industrial I have ever worked with! I would say that the only bad thing was that there were no assembly instructions, as others have said. But I was anticipating that, and found youtube instructionals very easily. It took me about 3-4 hours to put it together, plus time for adjustments. I've made several garments at this point, and it not only runs beautifully, it also handles so well that I am able to regulate the speed with hardly any effort. It came with the standard; 2 bobbins, a packet of needles, and the two screwdrivers necessary for adjusting the machine (NOT for any adjustments to the table). I have ordered needles to be able to work with somewhat lighter fabric (have to adjust the feeding teeth a bit for this), and a set of feet to be able to do zippers and such, which came with a new plate that has seam measurements on it. The plate that comes with the machine has no measurements.
Ultimately, this is exactly what I was looking for, and is a great addition to my crafting endeavors!Read full review...
