Great Product at a Super Price. I bought two and wish that I had bought a third. Not great but worth the price I paid (on sale)
They were worth the money I paid; very reasonable. I have two other headsets; I am comparing it to a Bose QC and a Letscom. The noise blocking in the JBL's is very good; however the cheaper Letscom is much more comfortable and came with a carrying pouch and can be used wired, which I like for travelling, whereas the JBL's do not have this option. I have respected the JBL brand with my connections to the entertainment industry but this headset is a bit disappointing as far as sound quality goes. Of course the Bose headset wins out but is far more expensive. The earpieces on the JBL are quite small which was not apparent in the ad and accounts for their relative lack of comfort.Read full review...

ALL bass, no mid/treble range. It is trash.
I am severely disappointed. I anticipated the headphones to sound better than a different brand I purchase regularly when those headphones wear out. I purchased these because they were on sale (a dollar or two less than the other ones I just mentioned) and I would still rather attempt to balance the headphones on top of my head than have these things pinch the blood out of my outer ear. The JBL Tune 500 BT is all bass with no mid or treble range at all.
If it wasn't so much of a hassle, I would ask for my money back so I could spend it on something that is decent.Read full review...

Great headphones for regular listening and calls
The headphones are lightweight and pretty comfortable. I have a big head, so they are a bit tight, but so far the padding on the earcups is sufficient to prevent a headache. The sound is much better than I expected, and the microphone works great for calls (per the person I tested them with). The controls are pretty easy to use too. The headset is lightweight, foldable, and is comfortable to wear. The battery charges fast and can last for a long time. Great bass but have to sit on your ears just right
LOVE the bass on these headphones. When I heard a truly good couple of mixes through these things, I was impressed. Only downsides are how insecure the notches are when adjusting to your head size, and more importantly the irritating sensation I feel around my earlobes if the phones aren’t sitting quite right. Probably due to a pressure point getting triggered. However, when the earmuffs ARE in the right spot, all is well. I have another pair of larger over-ear JBL wireless phone and some everyday wired in-ear phones also from JBL and they both sound great. I got these for 20 bucks and I think it’s worth it. The JBL Tune 500BT headphones provide great sound quality, and easily connects to my bluetooth source. My one complaint is that they aren't very comfortable. I wear 7 3/8-inch hat size, and they are way too tight.
