Works great

Im very allergic to poison oak, ivy, and sumac. Every summer I end up with it a time or two. As long as I have this on hand, I’ve avoided a trip to the doctor for a steroid shot unless of course its around my eyes, in that case, its off to the doctor I go! This is some really great stuff though. It stops the spread and dries it up with consistent treatment. Definitely a winner in my book! Read full review...

Great for instant relief

I get poison ivy several times during the year as well as fire ant and mosquito bites. Ive had poison ivy enough that i wont usually get a shot or steriods .

Its not sold near me.
It works great for instant relief to keep me from itching. Especially when im at work and cant use caladryl.

Read the label!

So you have poison ivy... and are looking up "Ivy Dry"... and you might think that this is the spray version of the soap that the Ivy Dry company makes - right? NOT. (That would be great, but sorry.) This spray is more of a topical skin analgesic, not the stuff that removes the oil from poison ivy. Different approaches and products for an outbreak... but both called "Ivy Dry" - or even with the term 'super'. Confusing, I know. ( That is the company name... Ivy-Dry Inc.))

So, is this worth getting? YES!!! This spray relieves that "skin-crawling overwhelming urge" to itch and itch and itch and itch... (and so on until you bleed and/or just go crazy with that annoying constant itching as it goes through the stages on the skin) Spray this on, and expect it to sting if you are still in the earlier stages of an outbreak (that is the alcohol, camphor and menthol on very tender skin- ouch!) ... and feel the relief. When this spray comes into its own (in my opinion) is when the outbreak is in the later healing (not weeping -but still very itchy at times) stages and a quick spray will take care of things for quite a while. Reapply as needed.
Great to have in your home treatment arsenal for poison ivy or similar outbreaks.

Stops the itching of poison ivy

This stuff works for poison ivy. It burns just a bit, but stops the itching better than my hydrocortisone prescription. Does it heal the infection? Not sure. It seems. All I can say for sure is the itching is removed with repeated applications. Best product I have found so far.Read full review...

Poision ivy

I have used ivy dry for years and love how it works. I hope the product has not been changed over the years (about 70 years).

FANTASTIC

This stuff is fantastic. Much better than Camomile or other products for poison ivy/ oak. Stops itching almost immediately and dries it up quickly. Highly recommended product.
