Need to Run Water Before Drinking

When I first put this on & ran my Kangen machine, the water coming out of the filter was DARK GRAY! I ran the water for a few minutes before it was clear again. So, now I'm wondering if the water will be any good.

Rubber gaskets need to be thicker otherwise a good filter

Product filters well.The 2 rubber gaskets that are at the base of the filter are too thin. Because of this the filter leaks when running unit.
