It' s the top of the range socket 1155 CPU, it delivers 3.4 MHz which is turbo-boosted by my Asus motherboard to 4.22MHz. and at a 38 degrees Centigrade operating temperature. It has 4 cores but because it is an i7 you get double the number of processes because of the logical cores. I am quite happy with my purchase and even in 2019 this CPU still rocks.Read full review

Great processor for my ageing mothorboard
This is the best processor for my ageing Dell 9010 OptiPlex PC, won the item for a reasonable price and am impressed with it's performance. I have run a bench test it has faired much better than the Intel i3 processor it replaced. Excellent CPU. Solid withe hyperthreading. Four cores eight threads. It may not be the K version but doesn't appear an issue. It will still overclock and is stable with the appropriate mboard.
