Great if you don't need the fastest latest drive for your older system.

I have only had it in for a week or two, but It obviously outperforms my old dying hard drive. I have it in an my old 06 MacBook, It really breaths new life into this old machine. I also have a new i7 Macbook Pro with a Crucial M4 SSD, and Even though that machine is a quad core with 16 gigs of ram, you don't really notice a huge difference if you are just doing basic stuff like word processing or checking your email. I was originally thinking of getting an Intel 510 for my MBP since it has a lot of great reviews But when with the Crucial to save some money since it is also a great drive. When my MacBook's hard drive started clicking I decided to throw a cheap SSD in it, since it is only sata 2 I decided the Intel 320 would be the best option. decent drive to upgrade older systems cheaply.

Update the firmware using intel's app and it is a decent system drive for an older system. I used it to upgrade an old ACER AX3400 (AMD 64x2) and boot time now is excellent, applications open faster, etc. Read full review...

Nothing too hard & Clean fix up

The SSD came with a housing so i had to remove that but it was nothing too hard, and it was detected as a clean drive so i had to format it and turn it into one.
