Definite winner with great features

NUC arrived in great condition for a used computer. Everything on it works well. It REALLY helped clean up my desk by getting rid of a much larger mini-tower. Win10 was pre-loaded and installed and works great. This NUC boots fast and runs VERY quiet. I really like that I can read my SD cards without another device. I also loaded Linux and it runs great too. Definitely a good buy!Read full review...

Perfect on Smart-TV for Skype (or any Internet activity)

When Sony stopped supporting the always-on, background Skype on their Bravia Smart-TVs, for me the NUC became the answer to get that capability (and a lot more) back in the living room. I took a NUC i5, added 16Gb RAM and a 250GB M.2 SSD, loaded my OS, and now I have a very fast and totally silent computer that really performs on large-screen HDTVs (ours is a 70") all with the on-board, 3D-capable graphics. Now we can also view our Security Cameras on the big TV, along with anything else from the Internet. And this little powerhouse is smaller than of a short stack of CD cases. This is my second NUC project and I would recommend them to anyone. Great Device!Read full review...

Intel NUC is a terrific upgrade from a Raspberry Pi !

I struggled with a Raspberry Pi zero W for weeks, suffering slow operation with Linux database loads, and every other day it would hang. Moving to the Intel NUC is a breath of fresh air. This Intel NUC is superfast, much higher resolution monitor supported, and rock solid for weeks now.
My database load took 50 seconds on Pi, and ran in less than 1 second on the NUC!
I definitely have a great product in the NUC, to run as a webserver.

The little machine that could

I put Fedora on it at first and it was fast. To see it really work, Now I have Ubuntu Server with 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB M.2 drive and it's running multiple containers, and Plex on the host OS. It never skips a beat.Read full review...

Nice, little, quick, and cheap.

Was easily able to install linux; there is plenty of documentation out there on how these things work. It's a fine little 8 year old computer that will handle what I require of it, and not take up any space.Read full review...

Intel NUC

A tidy little computer, small and quiet. I wish it had built in wifi, but there are plenty of USB adapters.

Easy to build, add your ram, SSD and install OS.

Selected approved RAM and SSD from from Intel support site. After installing, loaded OS and updated all of the Intel drivers. Incredible little box quite fast with a high performance SSD. The silent fan blows pretty warm air when worked hard, but shuts off when there is no load.Read full review...
