Not as useful as I had hoped....
Despite being advertised as "open\unlocked I found that there are sections of the 900MHz Ham band & sections of the Military airbac 230MHz-400Mhz that radio will not allow entry into or monitoring....many lesser priced scanners easily cover both these band so I found strange that this radio couldn't....for the relatively high price I found these gaps quite disappointing. Quality is good but there are SDR's out there for less than 20% of the price of this unit with no holes in the coverage Read full review

Sophisticated radio for serious SW listeners
The radio is good. The only criticism is the absence of a fuse in the fuse box of the power wire included. It would also be better if the manual is in English rather than Japanese.
