Core I3-4170
This is one of the best values for general computing purposes. I use mine for gaming quite a bit and it performs incredibly well. I play Skyrim at highest settings with no lag or stutter and it never has an issue. Other games I have played with this cpu: Far Cry 3 and 4; the latest Tomb Raider; COD all games; Rage; Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor; never had any issues. I use a pretty powerful gpu, so most of the heavy lifting is offloaded from the cpu. A good aftermarket cpu heatsink and fan are highly recommended for heat control.
