Almost a perfect unit.

This wireless receiver was purchased to replace one that has been in use for about 17 years. It too was a hunter product. The former unit was starting to have issues with fan speed, but the reason we replaced it was because it would not function with LED bulbs. The older units required a minimum of 40 watts from the bulbs. This new unit works with three 7 watt LED bulbs. The only draw back is that the bulbs can not be dimmed with this unit, even though the bulbs are "dimmable".Read full review...

Probably would work well for some applications.

I thought this would work like a wireless remote, had no idea that it had to be hard wired in the old fan electrical box. I wasted my money because the place I wanted to operate the fan from was outside of the room where I would of had to rewire the fan to. Easy install, looks great, and it works!
