A great turning point for the series

Despite the slight and somewhat obvious campiness of that was prevalent on the nineties for virtually any series, season three of Highlander was nonetheless the best of the six seasons of the series. Introductions of now iconic characters, downward spirals of the safety that was seen in the previous two seasons shown in very explosive glory, even a tug at the heart strings in the loss of dear (and rather cool) friends gave this season its best elements. The arrival and continuous scourge that was Calas is one particular part to the season that shouldn't be ignored.

The third season of Highlander was a great program to watch, but the DVD was a chore to open. I can't understand what is with the product designers of these DVD boxsets, but all that I have purchased so far, even the re-designs, were a practice in will I damage the DVD or not( it has a funky mash button at the bottom that at first isn't noticable and you're spending a minute or three trying to release the button before finding out that it'st there and have to push-release rather than pull the disc from the case, a trigger rather than a button). And speaking of DVD, if you have an older DVD, maybe from 2000 or 2001, be prepared for some skips or digital break-ups. I have a 360, so that was not a problem for me to switch from the standard DVD player to reduce my annoyance to this problem.

Of all of the design annoyances for this set, the show is worth adding to one's collection, especially if they already have the first two. It's a no-brainer really.

Highlander series , Season 3

Ok now on to season 3 , I loved season 3 a great season , Duncan gets to meet some brand new foes and some old also . The frist ep of season three shows how Duncan gets his Katana sword from one of his old teachers and not connor , This season was called the Drinking season due to the fact that well Duncan does a lot if drinking in this season when his friends come over he pulls out the brandy , I liked this season a whole lot all 22 eps of it over 1060 minutes . there can be only one

I watched the highlander almost all the show now I have them. Adrian Paul does a good job of defending the honor code that was put upon him. He must always be on his guard from other immortals.

This is a good season in the highlander series.

I am a big fan of the highlander series and the season 3 is one i really like in the tv series i am glad that its is on dvd.
