Harmon Kardon Fly ANC Wireless Headphone
Nice design and quality material, fairly light weight but clamping force a bit strong. Good battery life, micro USB charging., comes with a hard traveling case and cable & plug for airplane use. ANC more than acceptable for general commuting without too much echo distortion.. I can set up for two devices and there is an app for equalizer tuning and firmware update,Read full review...

Bad sound in one ear. Do not buy used.
Used headphones in great physical condition. The sound in the left ear has a consistent pitch that ruins the quality of the phones x. Disappointed I purchased these used. New Harmon Kardin flys are an excellent head phone.Read full review...

Excellent Sound Quality!
⁃ These headphones are worth every penny. New with tabs on the box, film covering the metal on the headband close to the ear-cups, manual, instructions and registration materials. Fresh from the factory, not refurbished. They have the ‘new’ smell. This is for those who are concerned about getting a ‘refurbished,’ and not a new product.
⁃ For comparison purposes, I compared them with the Sennheiser PXC 550 and the differences in sound quality, fit and finish were negligible. Only an ‘audiophile’ will find issues to nitpick. I am a Harman Kardon fan and I have the Harman Kardon Soho wireless and the older version Harman Kardon BT Premium headphones (the ones with rectangular ear-cups) and these sound as good as those excellent Harman Kardon headphones!
⁃ They come with a ‘hard shell’ (not military grade hard but hard enough for decent protection!) case/travel pouch, airline adapter, micro USB cable and a 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm wire cable just in case you want to use them as wired headphones.
⁃ I have ‘normal’ sized ears. They fit perfectly as ‘over ear’ headphones. If you have very large ears, then these might not fit over your ears and will fit more like ‘on ear’ headphones.
⁃ If you like buttons, these headphones have them all. On and off button, volume up and down, an ‘action’ button to use Google Assistant, Bluetooth button and EQ button. You have to turn the headphones on and off using the on-off button.
⁃ Pairing is easy. I turned them on and searched my Bluetooth devices on my phone (iPhone 8 plus) and the headphones paired immediately.
⁃ They come with Google Smart and Amazon Alexa voice assistants.
⁃ They use a micro USB cable to charge. This might be a ‘deal breaker’ to some but the excellent sound quality negates this minuscule issue.
⁃ They originally feel like they clamp your head harder than usual but after wearing them for a while the first time, (about 30 minutes) this feeling went away and they felt very comfortable and I rarely noticed them on my head after that.
⁃ Earcups are just perfect; semi-hard but not uncomfortable. I am sure that they’ll get more comfortable the more I wear them.
⁃ The ear cups and headband are made of leather. Leather lasts longer than ‘protein leather’ and based on how nice my older Harman Kardon BT Premium headphones still look after all this time, these Fly ANC headphones will look good for a long time.
⁃ I downloaded the Harman Kardon App. The app allows you to enable noise canceling, apply the pre-set EQ settings of Jazz, Vocal and Bass or set up your preferred EQ settings and set up the Amazon Alexa voice assistant. App also displays the battery level.
⁃ Even with the EQ settings off, the headphones sound amazing!
⁃ Noise cancellation is quite good. It almost eliminates the drone of a public bus engine and the rickety clack of regional trains and subways. Can’t wait to use them in an airplane. This is the type of noise cancellation that has a bit of ‘white noise’ when you are not playing any audio through the speakers. However, when playing audio, the white noise goes away and all you hear is good sounding audio.
⁃ Battery life is amazing! Even with ANC on, you get a lot of usage. I listened to the headphones for a total of 2 hours with ANC on and battery level was at 90%. This is in line with Harman Kardon’s battery life specs of 20 hours with ANC.
