Perfect alcohol free fragrance!
I pair this alcohol free Halston with regular Halston for super staying power. Together they create a long lasting scent that is soft, slightly spicy and warm that always gets compliments. It has been incredibly difficult to find and I am delighted to have found it for such a reasonable price. Light and woodsy not flowery at all awesome fragrance!!
You know that a fragrance if for you when you are unable to smell it on yourself. I receive compliments almost daily when I have this on. It's part of getting dressed for me so I forget that I have it on and someone will say "oh my you smell so good is that your soap, do you mind telling me what you use or have on"?? I have tried different fragrances and I might add much more $$$$ ones. Not one of them compared and they have to pass my husbands approval as well. The ones I tried were too flowery and sweet smelling and after an hour or so made me nauseous, just to much. My husband is addicted to the fragrance and I'll never change as he loves it as much as I do. People even say they know when I've arrived at work, and there has never been a word about it being offensive to anyone with sensitivities to fragrances at the office either. I like the unique scent. It smells like clean soap. I read it’s supposed to also have patchouli as an ingredient. I don’t know about that. I like patchouli, it’s one of the reasons I bought this. It also says, at least the Original formula, contains Vetiver. I like vetiver. It’s a dry Very, dry woodsy scent. I do recognize the scent of it as indeed being in there. Overall, it’s a unique scent. I like it. I was not familiar with the scent at all. I’m older and I do recall seeing the bottle in my younger days. I’m glad it’s still available. It’s a good value. One of the great perfumes of the 20th century
I have always loved Halston and am very glad it is still available. So many of the great perfumes of the 20th century have been discontinued but this one, thankfully, lives on. There is no other perfume even remotely like it. He was with a new girlfriend already. He would be suggesting it to her. I hesitated... mentally edited my response... and told him the name... leaving out that I only ever put it in my armpits instead of deodorant. Bwahahahahahaaa.
