Slightly disappointed, but workable

Looks like and feels like plastic toy for kids. Uses two AAA batteries. Finally figure out they need to go opposite directions to work. Frustrated and thought received a defective unit from China. Read the instruction booklet and after so many tries. Like the quality of units hospitals, restaurants and other places that are taking the temperatures of Americans walking into their facilities. Leaves a lot to be desired

Need to make a lot of adjustments to the temperature setting when using the Fahrenheit scale by comparing to results to a traditional oral thermometer, which really defeats the purpose of purchasing this product. Doesn't it?Read full review...

This thermometer fits comfortably in my hand. It's good quality and I like the carrying pouch that it came with. I would definitely recommend this product.

Fast, reliable, very easy to use

Fastest and easiest way to measure the body temperature without touching the body - you can choose to do it either in Celsius or Fahrenheit and it will let you know if it's ok or not through sound (bip) and color (of the screen). I've double checked my temperature with a regular touch-skin (armpit) thermometer and it indicates the same - I guess it's pretty accurate. I have no reason to not recommend it!Read full review...

Simple non-contact thermometer

Easy to use, easy to read, no needed contact with patients, prevent possible transfer of disease . An excellent clinical or home thermometer.

Good price, but short battery life

Seems to work properly however it runs batteries down rather quickly. I think the issue is with the on/off switch. It's important to insure you turn it off correctly to avoid battery drain - it does not shut off automatically.Read full review...

Flimsy, Constructed of very thin plastic.

It works fine but is very flimsy. It is CV instructed of very thin plastic. I don't think it would survive an accidental fall, from even 1-2 feet.
