Bringing back an old friend!

I had an HTC First for 2 1/2 years, and wore out the power button turning it off too much. My warranty replaced it with ah HTC Eye, which is a huge phone, too big to carry in a clip on my belt. I negotiated for a smaller HTC Desire 610 but could not get an otterbox case for it.
The only case with a belt clip I could get would only slide in to the clip and the phone case would bunch up. I tried this for three months and decided to go back to what worked before.
When you disable the Facebook overlay from the HTC First, it is pure android underneath, and works very well. I like a small phone and belt clip as I mentioned before, and I was able to get the phone at a reasonable price and an otterbox to fit it and it was very inexpensive as well, from ebay.
The phone looked as if it were brand new, and worked perfectly out of the box. The phone booted differently than the original from the carrier, but was essentially the same, so I googled how to disable the facebook overlay and restored all my data from my google account.
It isn't as powerful as the new phones, and missing a few features of the newest android versions and can't be upgraded beyond 4.1.2 as far a I know, but most all of the new phones are either much too large, or don't have an otterbox or equivelant case for protection. AWESOME phone!

I love the phone but it is much more fragile than any phone I have used in the past. The screen broke when it was dropped from a very short distance... But has held up very well even with a shattered screen.Read full review...

Easy to used and nice shape

This is nice phone to have and avoidable but someone need to careful how it handle it because if mistake drop from your hand it broke easily
