SWEET MONITORS

I have two of these running on my 7900gtx 1000:1 contrast ratio has a nice 4 port usb hub ..but the one thing i really love about them is a run a server box along with my main PC looked into getting a dvi kvm switch and they got for $150 ..sure i could have got a anlog one for 25 but i didnt want to lose digital quality to may main pc for games and photo shop ..this monitor has dual inputs so i run one to my main pc and one to my server .. got a usb kvm switch for my mouse and keyboard for 10 bucks..so that one little option saved me over a 140 bucks... Yes i do have to hit 2 buttons insted of one but to me it is well worth it ...also the monitor stands are really great ajustable height up to 4 inches swivles up and down side to side ..you can even rotate the monitor 90 degrees ..havent found a use for that one yet but it does it ... so all in all this is by far the best monitor i have ever owned or for that matter used ...i give it a A+++++++++ five out of five stars ...Noble prise ok maybe the last one is a bit too much ...Excellent monitorRead full review...

a lcd monitor still worth the money

I am quite satisfied with the image quality, as well as with the ergonomic improvements offered by HP. As usual, HP stuff delivers, regardless inevitable compromises between quality and price. On the average, the HP equipment I have had were good. This monitor is about twice or even more expensive than other 19-inch, ordinary ones. But it offers two DVI inputs, which can be hooked to two different computers. The software it comes with is also fairly good. I like the pivot option it comes with, as well as the stable stand. There aren't many things to dislike about it, save for it's being already slightly obsolete (8-bit screen, and about 70% coverage of the color spectrum). I have read some reviews about it and that made me buy it. The reviews were underlining the merits of the monitor, which were outweighing the shortcomings. I live in Taiwan, where this monitor is not available (with mostly budget price ones being sold, at more than half the price of this HP monitor). I preferred one that was highly recommended for office work and was said not to be eye-straining. I wished HP would update this product and sell it with even a better panel, and that screen, of course, were 24 inch, 3:2, and higher/highest resolution. The 1280x1024 resolution is a tad too low nowadays. Some 1900x1600 would be great indeed. The monitor is very solidly made, though, the bezel is very small indeed. I think that this line of products should be continued, regardless the wide-format monitors fashionable nowadays. I have it hooked mostly to my 14.1 inch laptop, and it is a great delight to surf the net on this screen. It helped me, I guess, win a lot of Ebay auctions, just because it lets me see more, faster, and better. It makes me feel empowered indeed, and so far, it's the best cost-effective screen I have had the opportunity to use or own as well. Buy one as long as it is still in stock!Read full review...

Just what I wanted.

The HP f1905 monitor works well. I have not seen any problems, so far, except some of the plastic parts around the tilt mechanism were loose. Did not affect the tilt operation. The display looks good. It is my second monitor in my dual-boot system. My primary monitor is my original HP f1905e that came with my old Windows XP system. I don't know the difference between the f1905 and the f2905e?Read full review...

Excellent example of a vanishing breed

The HP LP1965 monitor is an excellent value example, even if one pays full list, of a product which is fast disappearing from the market. I NEED a 4:3 aspect ratio monitor for some of my photography and writing work. This unit pivots to allow full-page text composition, and gives me the screen dimensions I use for the bulk of my photo printing (which is 8X10). The full range of the usual physical and output controls, as well as the rather thin frame/border on the monitor, are welcome. There were no issues in installation, and I made few adjustments to the color output, virtually the definition of plug-and-play. My greatest concern is that there may be no more LP1965s when my current unit dies in 5 years.Read full review...

Fast monitor for my slow desktop

I bought this monitor for my old desktop pc (a few years old). The last monitor had an accident 0.o so I needed a new one. The monitor has 5ms response time and that is just to say "it is really fast." This monitor works great for gaming and other rapid color/frame changing applications. So far there is nothing not to like about this monitor. I find out that my old desktop pc could boot up in 10 seconds. Comparing to my old 25 ms response time monitor it is 2 -3 times faster. I never knew monitor could affect the pc booting game until I bought this. Lastly, I got it at a good price on ebay =), roughly 1/2 the price at any low price stores for a monitor with similar specifications.Read full review...

Highly recommended used monitor

Highly recommendeded LCD monitor. Nice size for small spaces. It has two dvi inputs so you can connect two computers to one monitor. I use it as a second display monitor for my desktop. The monitor replaced my second CRT display. I really like the adjustable tilt and height feature on the monitor, since I am tall and can adjust it to eye level. However I wish there were more pixel resolution. The maximum on this monitor is 1280x1024. I wish the resolution would go up to 1600x1200. But I am satisfied with the monitor.Read full review...

A good, solid, precise, well thought-out monitor.

This monitor has 2 input video ports, which handle analog or digital feed through two DVI ports. One only needs a low cost adapter to handle regular VGA. It also comes with 4 USB ports, though they are somewhat out of the way to use. A rock solid stand with plenty of adjustments including a provision to rotate the screen for portrait mode. A free download enables Windows to handle the conversion onscreen.Read full review...

budget monitor

They work, don't expect much for 25 each, very heavy, and each one with 40 to 50 thousand hours apiece i don't think they will last forever. One of them has a very yellow tint to it even when you change it to 6500 k, but they work, yes that's the highlight of them.Read full review...

For the money I paid, this monitor is a very good value.

Using this monitor on a machine running Ubuntu (Linux). It was able to identify the monitor and adjust the OS settings accordingly. Really amazed how sharp the image is given the resolution of the monitor. Not as sharp as a CRT, but weighs a lot less, uses a lot less power and I am not using it for graphics so it is perfect for its intended use.Read full review...
