What was and probably still is the greatest racing simulator for the Playstation 2, Gran Turismo 4 is all about handling and physics. even back to the original Gran Turismo the car handling and physics are what made this series stand out above the rest. now on the second generation console. Gran Turismo's vehicles are sharper, brighter and downright stunning. Familiar tracks and environments return with an updates look, but keep the same feel. Beautiful Mountain scenes, narrow city streets give this game the sense of speed it has been yearning for. HD graphics some thought were impossible are now available. The REAL Driving Simulator

This game is perfect. The graphics are magnificent for the year this game was released (2005) and are still very impressive, especially with the develope's inclusion of 1080i HD picture if you use a component video cable to connect your PlayStation 2 to your High-Def TV.

Car and track selection is remarkable, great soundtrack.

Definitely recommend for those waiting for the release of Gran Turismo 5 on the PlayStation 3 and (a) still have a PS2 or (b) have an earlier PS3 capable of playing PS2 games.Read full review...

Great game, can't wait for GT5

This is a very fun game. I pre-ordered Gran Turismo 5 and couldn't wait for it to come out, so I ordered this game, Gran Turismo 4, to play until 5 comes out. So far I've had a lot of fun. Great graphics for a PS2. Smooth gameplay, and lots of diversity in available vehicles and upgrades. Very well put together game, and is still very enjoyable five years after it was released. Haven’t played yet.

Looks to be in working condition but have not had a chance to play yet. I would not have listed this item as like new though because it had noticeable scratches on the disc. Like new I would imagine would have little to no scratches but I don’t see that with this item. Hopefully it will work as that is all I really care about at this point.Read full review...

Amazing

This is one of the most amazing and addicting games in the world. There are tons of levels and tracks to keep you interested and more cars then I could count. The A-spec mode was supremely fun (you race) and the B-spec mode was addicting (You control a driver), especially in the 24 hour races with the race cars. The liscence getting part was a fun twist which taught you how to control the car and how to get used to the games controls. The cars ranged from 1966 Alfa Romeos to modern day Audi A8 Le Mans cars, and from 1941 volkswagen beetles to 2003 Mercedes SL65 Amg. Overall, this is a extremely fun, addictive game that you will never be able to stop playing.Read full review...

Best Driving Simulator so far

Most realistic driving game ever as far as vehicle looks and behaviors. The downside is that there is no damage modeling. If you have the patience to get through the license tests, it is a great game. Most people recommend using the Logitech wheel made for the game. While it adds realism to the whole experience, I found that I get faster times with the controller.Read full review...

The best racing game ever,

What I liked about GT4 was the shear realistic simulation that game provides. Its as if you can control an actual car with your fingers. One thing I dislike about GT4 and all other GT game series was the sense of speed. When your traveling at 130 mph, it seems like your going 80 mph.
