The trap has been unsuccessful thus far. I believe trip mechanism design make too difficult for gophers to set off. Perhaps rather than having three strangle straps, design it with only two. However, the straps should have guides within the tube.Read full review

Nice trap, good idea, but hasn't worked yet!

I tried it on three occasions and have yet to catch a very active gopher with new trap. The gopher tunnels are in hard soil and are not very deep, making it difficult to set the trap. This gopher has soil packed other conventional traps many times and tends to avoid zinc phosphide pellets! Read full review
