To Goddesses Unknown

I purchased this book on the recommendation of a respected author and friend who loves all of Jean Shimoda Bolen's books. Although the topic and contents focusing on Jungian psychology and using Classic goddess mythology are clearly and cogently written, I personally found this viewpoint not useful for my own personal development, psychological, and spiritual well being.

Basically, I had trouble keeping track of which goddess had which characteristics. Also I couldn't identify with any of them so help me God(esses)!!!! I just can't believe and use the images from the Greek and Roman pantheon. This could be because I like things simple and having one God(ess) is easier to relate to and identify with. As it is most of my belief is in Jesus Christ who though a male, loved everyone, from whatever gender, especially females reject. This includes the "woman at the well," married or in relationship with at least 4 husbands, the woman adulteress who was about to be stones.

Hallelujah, to Light of the world and this woman's life.
