Fixed the problem

I had a 2009 GE microwave that was throwing sparks like metal was in it, but the sparks were coming from the side of the microwave. I could tell they were coming from the inside. This part fixed it and was cheaper than a $300 microwave.

Works as expected

Used this to replace the magentron in my microwave. It arrived undamaged and clean. It had the four mounting nuts included. Works great.

For anyone else doing this, I suggest testing the capacitor with a multimeter (look up how to discharge a microwave capacitor) and checking the fuses on the control board before replacing the magnetron.Read full review...
