Fitting a new fuel filter P8935 to solve engine cutting out
A MK1 Focus 1.8 TDCI had a problem with the engine cutting out occasionallly on long runs. The solution was to replace the fuel filter. The fitting is straight forward and after ensuring the replacement filter was first filled with diesel before attaching the pipes the engine started first time and has been going strong ever since.
