Older model, but does everything at great price

I think this is now an older model, they had to clear way for units costing 2-3 times as much! I just need an alert for danger, nothing else. This has the easy mounting, reliability and typical mounting size. Everything else is nonsense. Read full review...

Great quality

I have 6 of these installed, one was chirping every so often for no apparent reason. The detectors are about 2 years old. They are all hardwired and the backup batteries all checked good. Replaced the chirping one with this and now all 6 are just fine again.Read full review...

Does it all

I wanted a unit that tested for CO and smoke-and tested for smoke photoelectricaly, the "better" way. This does both, is easy to install, and is easy to replace batteries. Best combination I've found.

Test out as good

The units test out as good. Batteries are easy to change. Hopefully I will never find out how well they work in an actual emergency.

A life Saver

Well I'm still alive. Easy installation, Battery never needs changing. Looks nice also.
And usually when you do need it, it is to late to say Gee I should have bought a Carbon Monoxide Detector.

Doesn’t work!!! Junk!

I decided to give it a try. Held it over my woodstove open door and smoke detector did not go off! I did the same test with my other smoke detector and it worked fine! If it doesn’t work with smoke, I don’t want to trust my life as a carbon monoxide detector! Spend more money buy something better!Read full review...
