Fender american tuners
I installed the tuners on a Squire Strat. I eye balled the tuners while positioning in the tuner holes and marked each tuners double studs with a pen and drilled the 2 holes needed to install each tuner. If you take your time and are patient you can do a decent job. Even if the holes you drill aren't perfect you can ream them a bit larger and the tuner itself will hide any imperfections. For the money it was a no brainer.
The original Squire tuners are garbage. Two of them broke, snapped at the base of the tuner, for no reason.Read full review...

Reliable Fender tuners
Tuners are solid and work -- not locking type, but stays in tune. Installation takes either a neck with the two little guide-holes all ready to go, or else some skill with a small drill bit. Put it into place and tighten down enough to leave two faint dents on the headstock, then remove and drill. Tape a stop guide so you don't drill too far through the neck, just deep enough for the wee pegs.Read full review...

Excellent tuners!
These fit my Mexican strat neck with no issues. Accurate tuning as expected from American standard Fender product.

Perfect for a new replacement neck, these are Staggered tuners! No head tree needed for strings
Not recommended for replacements since there is a head tree already there! Be careful these are Staggered! The first 2 are normal size, the last 4 are very short

FENDER QUALITY, STAGGERED TUNERS
Just installed these tuners on a "Fender-Strat" I found in the trash. I had to drill holes for the pins as the originals didn't have them. This gave me the option to mount the tuners slightly screwed with the head so they look level when the guitar is held at playing angle, IMHO a cool look. While these tuners look/feel great, I did not notice any advantage as far as eliminating the need for string trees on this guitar. I think a new nut may see a difference so I will not pass judgment at this time. The finish is excellent with no blemishes, bubbles or scratches, and the action is very smooth. Yes, I recommend these for any guitar that needs new tuners or a little dressing up.Read full review...

Wow, what a difference!
I've owned my USA Fender Strat for 20 years, and have had trouble keeping it in tune (I'm kinda fanatical about tuning). Come to find out the sleeves through the head stock on some of my tuners had actually broken off. This is like getting a new guitar! If your strings are slipping even a little, try turning the hex nuts and see if yours are broken too.Read full review...
