Fifa Fun for the whole Family

Well were to begin with this new installment of the Fifa series. First of all it cannot be compared to its siblings of the 09 series, since this game is in its own category. It has basically the same foundation as the other 09 games available for the Ps3 and Xbox360. It is that it has a different look and style to everything. Basically, its the same. What I like the most is that it has a uniqueness that the whole family can enjoy.

Menu(09/10) I love the menu of this 09 game. It is so fun to use. It looks amazing and easy to use. A five year old could easily find anything with this menu. Although it does not have that cool look it had from the previous fifa games, it is still quite cool. What I mean is that the previous games had a cool intro with an awesome song and scenes. This one just takes you to the menu. But it is so cool looking. It is easy to use and easy to look at. Menu options are easier to find.

8 V 8 Mii (10/10) Come on. You think i'm going to rate this badly. This is probably the most exiting thing to happen to Soccer Football. It is so awesome playing soccer with mii's. If you thought only teenagers could play soccer games because of their difficulty, not anymore. This is fun for the whole family. Even my little sister wants to play because she can use her miis to play. (an she hates soccer) You can use teams like Ronaldinho's Brazil, Ribery's French revolution, Rooney's Powerful Englishmen, and others. Great fun for the whole family who enjoys soccer. This is what makes it the choosing point when picking a Wii over the others. Especially for Soccer Fans.

Football(10/10) Well this is what I think of its gameplay. Basically there is no difference from the other FiFa 09. Just that some things are taken off and some things are added. For Example, no referee. yeah they took that off, but its better, no wasting time with the referee scene. Big Logos are added instead of the teams name, I like that a lot. Plenty of new leagues added, new players and almost to date line-up. Not that much difference from the other 09 as I thought there would be. Phew!

Gameplay(99/10) why this rating, because is incredible. You can play soccer with the wii remote. Oh boy that was fun. Ok yeah beginners can learn how to play in a matter of minutes. Standard mode the passes are more accurate and not so many things to remember. Then there is advance mode where you decide where to pass the ball and to who you actually want to pass the ball to. Either is awesome to use. But for online gaming I prefer a classic control, which I can use. Got to love Nintendo for that. With the wii mote I am in the semi-pro, Barely got the game.
With the classic Gamecube control I am a World Class Fifa player. So Online, I'm Unstoppable.

Graphics(09/10) The Graphics are quite good. Yeah they are not as good as the other Fifa 09's.
the Difference actually is that it is more colorful and brighter. Duh! it is intended for the whole Family. Other than that, I as a Game Designer can't Find any significant Difference.

Extras(100/10) Oh BOY! This is the first time I have seen extras in a soccer game. First it is the 8 v 8 miis soccer. Awesome! then there are other mini games such as table soccer. YES!!! and freestyle Juggling with your Mii. COOL!!! and Other mini games. ONLINE Feature is probably the best of all. Challenge friends or random people and be the king of noobs. Get ranked with Fifa 09. Play in online Leagues. SO COOOLL!! overall it is better than 09 for PS3

FIFA Soccer 2009 - Wii - review

This version of FIFA soccer very fun for all.
The all-play feature adds an additional fun factor to the games experience, especially to those playing who are not too sure of how to play the game or many alike. The graphics, quality of screen views, and accuracy of players, stats, etc. are very realistic. This game is right there with the feel of the game. You are made to feel as though you are right there in the middle of the action, especially behind the scenes as you are given the same options and powers as the GMs, owners, and team board of directors are given and faced with.

Not quite sure of what exactly (if any) I disliked about this game. Lots of fun, that's for sure.

Purchased as a gift for someone else, but after opening it and playing it, I decided to simply keep it for myself and find another gift to give.

Great gameplay, lacks some basic features

I love the gameplay of Fifa09 for Wii, especially when on advanced controls. You can play in any league with any team, or just play in "kickoff" mode for a quick game with friends. Manager mode is quite fun, as you can control a team's tactics, scouting, and transfers for up to 15 seasons. Or you can switch to a different team between seasons. You can play as many games as you like in manager mode and tournament mode and simulate the games you don't want to play. The only drawback I noticed was the lack of some basic features like PK shootout or free kick practice games. Even World Cup 98 for N64 had these features. There is a little training game where you sort of get to practice some of these things, but you can't play against another person. 8v8 Footie party is a fun alternative to 11 on 11 with similar gameplay. Graphics are pretty good. Recommended if you enjoy soccer video games.Read full review...

Best of FIFA franchise on Wii

Surely the best effort from EA Sports FIFA team on Wii. Very nice gameplay, with three option, my preferred is the advance. Point and click to pass make the game feels like Pro Evolution Soccer and works great. Graphics are realistic and beautiful for the console. Includes Manager Mode and a bunch of minigames. 8vs.8 and table football are really fun. Soundtrack is fantastic.Read full review...

FIFA Soccer

I purchased this item for my son. He loves soccer and has older games that he plays. I like this game because it involves more thanjust sitting and playing a video game. You have to interact with the game, make decisions about players, training and various day to day activities as if you were actually there. It was a great purchase at a good price.Read full review...

Great Game

My kids and I enjoy this game immensely. You definitely want the nunchuk for advanced use for older kids/adults but little guys can also play in the basic mode.

FIFA Soccer 09 All-Play (Wii)

I bought the game because my step daughter is a huge soccer fan. The mini games are ok but the actual gameplay is dificult trying to point on screen with the wand where you wish to pass while trying to pay attention to the defenders around you. Just an awful lot going on and things are moving real quick but it could be fun if you played evreyday and could get overly used to all the controlls.Read full review...
