...kinda disappointed

Enter the Matrix was something I was looking forward to trying, being a huge fan of "Max Payne" and "Grand Theft Auto" Third Person perspective shooters, and although the game play is Third Person, and the movies were great, I just wasn't a fan of this game. There were some pretty cool action sequences and gameplay, but it just seemed as hollow as Neo himself. As the game progressed I was still trying to "give it a chance". Not a big fan. I would give it a below average rating but I understand that if you're a fan of the movies you might like this game, which I was, but I'm also a fan of PC Games, and this one was disappointing.

Unbiased viewpoint

I must say you have to appreciate sci-fi for what it is. Not all of it is understandable. And some of it even contradicts itself. In order to fully appreciate it, you must realize that the matrix breaks the rules and laws of everything you know to be real. The PC DVD game allows you a further look into the matrix world and the ability to accomplish impossibilities based on probabilities and the complete reliance on the fact that none of it is real, but all of it matters.

The worst part about it is the bugs that might show up when trying to use cheat codes, or accessing parts of the game. There's parts that the cinematography might glitch or you might accidently flip off a wall to your death. It's really just minor annoyances.

I just like the ability to slow time, dodge bullets, and not waste ammo killing the enemy. The kung-fu just rocks. It's not as diverse as it could be, but I guess any more moves would require a gig of memory to run smoothly. Good storyline. Nice and confusing. Makes you want to do it all again just to pick up on missed clues or something.Read full review...

OK game but didn't age well.

The game is fine but much less challenging than I once remember. Moreover, "bullet time" is not working properly. I can only assume this is because the processor speed is so much faster. Disappointing.

This was a pretty disappointing game.

Its only redeeming feature is that the storyline ties in with the Matrix movies.

Gameplay was awkward on a PC - maybe it was better on video game systems. The game was not all that challenging. All the cool "moves" were easily acheived in bullet time without much work. The characters do not improve or evolve throughout the game. The story isn't very interesting.

Die-hard Matrix fans will enjoy the game. Serious gamers should stay away.Read full review...

I played the game on my Windows 10 laptop it works fine but the screen gameplay looks small it never changes it doesn't matter cause is a old pc game and I'm enjoying playing this game.

I love this game, especially for this price.

I remembered playing this when I was younger so I bought it. Difficult to start if you have windows 7. You have to find all the patches and all but when you finally get rolling, hen you're set. Haven't found any bugs yet. Definitely recommend this item but I would say get it for the Original Xbox because it runs smoother.Read full review...

Enter the Matrix

This game is awesome! I bought it caue I liked the movie and I was really into it. I love it! The graphics are great and this game keeps you hooked to see what's next.

It's not just a movie

It is a nice game and if fills in the blanks from the movie. I mean things they talk about or mention in the movie but you are now doing those missions. It is pretty good game.
