Informative, reads much like Rise and Fall of Genghis Khan

Absolutely does not portray the ‘savagery’ of the Comanche natives but rather an honest portrayal of the cruel war waged on the Natives that resulted in an earnest fight to the end. The book is nuanced in its portrayal of the Native tribes of America and does a good job of demonstrating that the Great Plain’s tribes were no more or less violent than their white, conquering and colonizing counterpart.Read full review...
