Hooray for Elmo

My son is almost two and has a fairly limited vocabulary but knows a few words very well. Elmo, hands, ears and feet are near the top of the list with Elmo being at the very top. He loves the Elmo's World videos so much that merely whistling the theme song will stop a tantrum in its tracks. Anyone with a two year old will appreciate the power of a song that can stop a tantrum. He only watches one video a day at most but the impact of the Elmo's World videos are so substantial that he will behave for hours on the promise of impending Elmo.

This video has gotten him more interested in exploring his body and washing his hands. He asks for it almost every day. His vocabulary has been vastly improved since we started watching the Elmo's World videos. If you have a toddler and you're looking for a good video for them. Not just a Barney fan anymore

My 20-month old was solely a Barney fan, and while I do like the messages that are taught in the Barney videos, I wanted to add a little variety. Our little angel is enjoying her Elmo dvd. She can go on and on babbling and giggling once we put the DVD on. This is our first ELMO DVD, and I'd say it has been a big hit. She seems to enjoy and pay attention to this more than the Baby Einstein series. A great buy!Read full review...

I have never seen this but I sure it is a great learning dvd for young children, my 2yr. old just loves anything Elmo, so he should love watching and learning from this dvd.
