Fun, and works great!

Fun to use and easy to set up, despite the instructions not being very user-friendly. Right now, I have it set up to open various programs on 5 of the buttons, and the 6th button goes to a different page with 5 more presets, and so forth. You can put in virtually unlimited functions this way, as long as you don't need to see them all at once. (If you do, get the bigger Stream Deck.) They say not to plug it into a USB hub, but only into a USB port on the actual computer, and, in fact, the unit doesn't even work if plugged into a hub! You must use a USB port actually on the computer. Just one annoyance: the unit isn't very heavy, and when I reach over to push a button, it frequently just slides away from me on the desk. Mini stream deck

I purchased this device because I do professional training videos for my professional career. The tool, a macro switch box for all intensive purposes does a really good job of allowing me flexibility when screen capturing in OBS or recording on green screen with two cameras. It’s small. Mini good for a mini job.

Works as advertised. I use it to send commands to a second streaming computer so that I don't have to use a keyboard and mouse.

I have the Stream Deck XL, Stream Deck, and Stream Deck Mini.

If you're doing streaming or workflow optimization in a complex app, or something, get the Stream Deck XL. In fact, I got the Stream Deck and realized I needed the XL. Once you have one you realize how need a lot more keys on your default screen.

Now I use Stream Deck XL for my camera switching, and other workflow like popping open apps on a shared screen, etc.

I use the Stream Deck for sounds, zoom commands like Share Screen, Stop Share.

Stream Deck Mini for running an additional computer without a keyboard and mouse for mix-minus in my headphones.Read full review...
