Elements of Persuasion - James LaBrie (CD 2005)

This CD is a little harder than Dream Theater's music. LaBrie's voice is amazing and is strong enough to rise above the crunching guitars. The CD has good melody writing, almost as good as Dream Theater, but not quite. The second track "Alone" is an excellent hard rock/metal tune. The songs stay pretty straight forward and do not stray into prog as DT does. So, if you like LaBrie's voice and just want in your face hard rock/metal you should check this out.Read full review...

heavier than most Dream Theater

one of my favorite cds and I have all the DT cds... it's what Dream Theater lacks... excellent music, great lyrics... without all the solo noodling that gets old after a while... James produced this cd... everyone involved is top notch musician and puts forth their absolute best effort... any prog/metal/rock fans need to add this cd to their collectionRead full review...

I got the CD way early. I was hoping to get in in time to give to my husband for his birthday. I got it within 2 days after I paid for it. I would defently buy from this person again.
