Very nice card and at these prices now a great value compared to the 40 series.

I use this 3090 different then most folks. It is in my music server PC and helps my CPU up sample Redbook PCM streams (cd quality, 16bit/44.1 KHz) to a DSD1024 output. I don't really use the video part of this card, its the cuda cores that really help with this process, similar to mining I guess but way less power consumption. Very pleased with the results.Read full review...

Great Card but too pricey.

The card works fantastic. I need a small card to fit my my build. Is a 2.2 slot card if your working small form factor pc. It runs wonders. The only downside is the price but what can you do when there is a shortage. $2700 was what I paid which I don't recommended but what can you do wait a year or 2 for something better. Overall is great card and at its msrp. If you can't wait then check if you have the funds for it. Because it will be an investment than just gaming remember that.Read full review...

Expensive, but worth it.

Great video card for gaming and mining Ethereum. 120 MH/s Speed in mining - so it pays for itself in about 9 months. Great frame rates on ultra quality in video games. Price now is DOUBLE the manufacturer's suggested retail price. Demand is greater than supply so price has doubled.Read full review...

Excellent card if you can afford it.

This card isn't for everyone, and shouldn't be. On paper it's an awful value and beyond overkill for anything other than the most bleeding edge of gaming (4k, high refresh). In practice, it's still an awful value. But if you can swing it, it's also an insane card that will last you for years and years, especially at 1440p.Read full review...

Great card but - DOES IT EVER PUT OUT HEAT!

Card is probably best on market. If you're mining or doing any kind of graphic / game development compiling this will put in the work.

But man, does it put out heat. Going to be great come fall and winter I won't need to use a space heater around my desk, but I need a box fan in my room now to push the heat from the desktop away from me because this card easily gets to 80cRead full review...

Serious upgrade!!

So far so good - the value won’t be determined until I get some service life out of it…….but it fired up right away and does not appear to have any exterior blemishes and was well cared for it would appear. I will be putting it through its paces in the next few weeks as I find time to really test it. I think this was a good buy Read full review...

Excellent

My first build and with this graphic card hopefully my last one for a while. I really wanted the card and sold out everywhere so unfortunately I did pay more to get it. But honestly the way some 20 series were looking might as well just pay more. Read full review...

Worth it, especially evga's for msrp of standard 3090

Does everything we wanted plus more!

Retail for this is like 1800
We got it for less then what it was derived from, that being a standard 3090 from nvidia!

So yeah, everything on it runs slightly better than standard 3090, not much better, but you are looking at lots of constraints on this top product.

With a good cpu and you are looking at 100fps minimum at 1440 ultra wides. Max out settings of course. Even at 4k if the game is using DLSS you are getting 100 fps minimum too.

Nor the 3080 is better bang for buck, but this is just another step above that. Plus games are already hitting vram pretty hard too, it might be worth to get a 3090 lots of games maxed out that I'm testing are already in the 10GB range for vram.. And a standard 3080 only has 12. Who know what 2 years from now brings.

Fast, quiet, but giant.

Great and powerful card. Stays cool with low RPM fans. 24GB of RAM is amazing for content creation where my 8GB 1080 was maxing out.

A great card for Mining or games, but it runs HOT.

Bought this card for mining purposes. The 3090 has no models with LHR production, so there was no chance of someone trying to pull a fast one with the LHR models that started shipping in June. It runs hot as hades when mining. The VRAM will easily surpass 105C if you OC it. I decided against OC for 12-15 higher hash rate. It runs stock 103-106. Ran up to 118ish OC'd. But it was like a runaway nuclear reaction with heat when pushed that hard and I stopped it before it got any hotter. Added water cooler and put a high RPM fan right on top of the VRAM and got it to run about 90-94 C on the VRAM. The actual GPU chip runs pretty cool, about 49C. Overall, it carries it's weight for sure and is worth the investment if you can get one around $2k. It is not worth $2500 or more. STOP paying those prices, they will fall. My next move is to add a second one, though I'll probably have to use a two sided waterblock to keep it from lighting on fire.Read full review...
