Great low profile 3080 with good performance

Good performance, smaller footprint, and less RGB flair for a nice clean look. The smaller size of this card is great for low profile builds in smaller sizes cases. Actually overclocks decently for 2-5% additional performance. It’s lighter than most 3080 cards so it does well in vertical GPU placement and has less sag. Better than Founder's edition

After trying Founder's Edition, I am much happier from the performance of EVGA card . It runs cooler so I never get thermal issues. As soon as I received the card, I bench marked and it out perform Founder's edition. I will never try Founder's edition again. Read full review...

EVGA 3080s perform about 5% better than Gigabyte and don't require thermal pad replacement

EVGA 3080s mine about 5% more than Gigabyte and don't require thermal pad replacement.

The fan curve isn't optimal for mining - it's optimized for quiet gaming. So for mining the fan speed must be manually set. Once that is done the VRAM junction temps come down nicely - into about 90C.

This in contrast to the Gigabyte Gaming OC 3080s which run about 15% down to keep them from thermal throttling on VRAM junction temps. Once the poor, oily, Gigabyte thermal pads are replaced only then are the temps sane (and then better than stock EVGA ~ 82C). But at that point they're still ~ 96-98 MH whereas the EVGA are ~ 102 MHRead full review...

It's a nice card for gaming, mining or encoding video. The precision software allows you to configure everything on the card, from rgb to fan curves.

EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 performs great and runs quiet much better than my old 980Ti.

Other than the issues of purchasing one of these cards since the demand is so high and the supply is low the overall experience has been great. I upgraded from an EVGA GeForce 980Ti Classified to this card and it has been a huge upgrade for me. Haven't had any driver or crashing issues since I received it a few days ago. Seems like any of the initial bugs have been patched out by Nvidia and the manufacuturing issues resolved on the EVGA's side. Looking forward to playing new game titles in high res settings for the first time in a long time.Read full review...
