Great Speaker
A very clear sounding bookshelf speaker that has plenty of bass. I can listen to these without experiencing any fatigue. They brought out details my more expensive audiophile speakers did not reveal. You could spend more money, but for most people these will be all the speaker they want and need. I enjoyed them so much I bought 2 pairs.Read full review...

4 of 5 stars value read review
Andrew Jones design is a clever approach to make a below average crossover network and decent cheap drivers mounted in a laminated ported box. The price tag at under $300.00 retail a pair is fair and nothing for Elac to be ashamed of. The sound quality of these speakers is what you should expect for the price paid, in a garage or game room these are spectacular but fall pretty hard in a dedicated audio room with higher end electronics as it should for the price. To sum it up if you are looking for a great sounding play room or garage you cant go wrong here, just be aware at this speakers price point due to sub par electronics and drivers will not satisfy in the short or long run in a dedicated audiophile set up, so you may want to keep looking and saving money to satisfy that itch. I rate these speakers 4 of 5 stars (for the price point being sold) .Read full review...

ELAC B6.2 speakers: Lexus quality / Corolla price
I have had many pairs of bookshelf speakers, including some classics like the highly regarded Baby Advents. But dollar for dollar, it would be extremely difficult to beat the the Elac B6.2s. They are remarkable speakers. They possess clarity from top to bottom that is amazing for speakers of this price. For an entry-level high end system you would be hard pressed to find a better deal. I could go on and on about the virtues of the B6.2s but I would just be repeating myself. If you are looking for high end speakers at an extremely affordable price, get a pair of these. A lot of speaker for this price point
I purchased mine new with a set of B6s as well. Solid build quality. Heavy. After a good break in period, they sound terrific in my opinion. I've rotated both pair in and out for a year. Good pedigree. Elac Concentros are 75 grand a pair. This model is a bit more affordable. You won't be disappointed. Read full review...

Great value
I got the Elac Debuts because I loved the Andrew Jones designed Pioneer bookshelf speakers so much. After moving the Pioneers to a different room, I bought the Elacs for my small living room. Still breaking them in, but what I notice so far are the following merits: very well balanced, tonal clarity across the frequency range, and a richer, deeper and wider sound stage. These effects are more noticeable the more you drive them. Very happy with them so far!Read full review...

Excellent sound especially for the price.
Excellent sound especially for the price. I also bought the C6.2 center channel so the timbre across all three front speakers is perfectly matched. Got all three from One Call, those guys are great. When I found the B6.2's at a lower price they refunded me the difference! Read full review...

Great sounding book shelf speakers.
These Elac 2.0 B6.2 speakers sound great right out of the box. This was just what I was looking for in a pair of bookshelf speakers. Well balanced sound and clarity of sound are second to none. Sturdy build and solid, like they will last forever. Awesome product for the cost, great value.Read full review...

Budget choice, sound gets better as they break-in.
Had high hopes for these. They have good bass. Mids and highs are mediocre because they sound muted. They lost the A/B battle against B&W FPM-5's (not even close), and have been relegated to the garage. Recommend either NHT C3 or SVS Ultra Bookshelf for better sound. Skip the Elac's, unless they max your budget.
Update... These speakers sound terrific in the garage. The more I've listened, the better they get, and have opened-up so much during their garage duty, I'm thinking of trying them again on the 2-channel system.Read full review...

Big sound little footprint
For the money the sound is great. With enough amp power the lower end sound very tight and nimble. The mid to highs are nice but lack a little presence like my Klipsch horns.
