Really sucks up the water
I had a "water separator" on my air compressor, that never had any water in it, and sometimes I would get drops of water out of my spray gun. It was useless.
I rigged up a way to put 3 or 4 ounces, by volume, of this stuff in the clear bowl of my existing separator. It did a GREAT job! By the time I finished spraying a car, it had turned completely green, indicating it was ready to recharge or replace.
You can dry it out in a microwave, and re-use it. Just put it in a shallow bowl, and heat it on defrost, or real low, until it turns orange again. Read full review...

I particularly appreciate having all the beads being indicators of their moisture adsorption status. Works for sealed storage cans
I acquired some orange prescription bottles. Not sure the volume; but, ~2" tall by 3/4" diameter. I drilled 1/64th inch holes all over the bottles - lots of holes. I poured enough beads in each to 1/2 fill the bottles. Next step - slip the bottles into rubber sealed, storage cans. Should keep what we store in these cans dry and rust free for long durations. Keep your powder dry
I keep a bowl of this stuff in the cabinet with my reloading powder. Seems to keep the moisture level down. When it changes color I zap it in the microwave. The beads shrink some after heating so it doesn't last forever.Read full review...
