This does exactly what it says it will do. Allow you to replace your HVAC blend door without having to remove the dash. Yes, you have to cut the bottom of the Air Box, use a Dremel with a router bit. Hardest part is getting the old door out. I basicly ended up grabing it with pliers and snapping it in half. Once that is done, the rest is easy.Read full review...

The only way to fix your temp control without tearing the heater box out.
This is the only way to go in order to fix a broken blend door without pulling the whole heater box. It is a straight forward job but, not necessarily easy. It is hard to get the old door out. I ended up having to break it into pieces with a channel locks to remove it. Installing the new door is also tricky. You have to carefully remove the metal socket on the top of the new door to install it. MAKE SURE TO MARK IT FOR ORIENTATION BEFORE YOU REMOVE IT. The only way to get the new door in is to remove the top socket, wiggle the door into position though the hole you cut into the heater box and hold it while reinstall the socket from the top of the heater box once you have it in position. Pay attention to your orientation mark so you get it in the right position. Also make sure you have your temperature control orientated all the way cold or hot so you can line up the stem on the actuator with the door once you have it installed.
