Had issues with People leaning and sitting on my car I have a good alarm made by viper but it wouldn't go off cause unless it senses a hard hit like if got bumped by a car parking or if you would've hit the window so I bought & installed this proximity sensor and now i have it set that if you come up within a foot of my car the alarm warns you to step back and if you don't step back or proceed forward the full alarm goes off I love it now everyone stays away Read full review

I've used this with viper alarms since the 80's in my 1969 Camaro and now currently on my truck.
Most important feature I love is you can TURN DOWN (adjust) sensitivity for cats or passerby's. This is critical as, most people dislike and won't use it because they say it will drive you crazy...not so!

Mostion senser 508D don't over think it
Well I got the thing and read the info and then thought I would c if I could get more info on line but it just made it seam harder than it was. If u have a 4 pin slot on yer alarm u clip the red and black wires and plug green and blue into the slot and then hook red 2 12 v + and black 2 the orange wire that is yer geound while armed and yer done.Read full review

It's a regular DEI proximity sensor, it gives good instructions on how to wire it up. I ordered the Autopage version, it's the same plug and everything just like the one I have on other car with Viper alarm. I love it and I dont mind having to wire directly, because the plug didn't work with my RsC3 730. Good product!Read full review

If u have an alarm already installed the 508d is very easy to install I choose to tie into my shock sensor just matched up wires by color an it was good to go does what I wanted an needed it to do!!!!Read full review
