Great story!!

Deus Ex has always been one of my all time favorite game series. I never actually played this one and was excited to play it. I love the story and gameplay. If you love deus ex you will love it!!

For an old game its pretty good

Deus Ex was considered to be one of the most advanced First Person Shooters when it came out. But now it is showing its age. The graphics are pretty bad compared to current PS2 games and the audio is not the best either. But the gameplay is still good and the way you can choose what your character will specialize in makes it a game that is still worth checking out. Deus Ex throws some RPG elements into the FPS mix and in works well. The story is not to bad either. Considering this game can be bought for under $10 you may want to try it, just keep in mind that it looks and plays like a 1st generation PS2 title.Read full review...

Deus Ex: The Conspiracy

Deus Ex is a very popular and influential title in its own right and this game certainly does the franchise justice. A port to the PlayStation 2 from PC Deus Ex: The Conspiracy is a great port. It has minor flaws or differences such as some dialogue removal, though this is infrequent, and most maps have a different layout, but the core aspects of the game remain the same. The player can still choose how to approach a situation and the game provides unique options in a way that many games today do not. JC Denton can still go in guns blazing, creep in stealthily through vents, hack terminals, stun or completely massacre enemies, and more. This is an amazing port of a classic PC game and is well worth the money to experience everything Deus Ex: The Conspiracy has to offer.Read full review...

Shadowrun, anyone?

I spent many hours of my life playing the Pen and Paper game of Shadowrun (Surprise! I'm a dork!) I also wasted about 30 hours a piece on the Genesis and Super Nintendo Releases of the game as well. Granted the story line is a little different, but with the similar level of futuristic technology and dark story/ setting, this is a must for any CyberPunk, Shadowrun, Fallout, or any other fan of near future fantasy. The controls take some getting used to as far as jumping and climbing. The game style is a first person shooter that acts more like a RPG. There are many ways to complete each level of the game, from being a sneaky bastard to a murderous psycho. Again, because of the controls isses when it comes to jumping and climbing ladders, I would have given this game a 4.5, but it is definately one of my favorite games of all time.Read full review...

Long and exciting 1st person game

Your talents decide gameplay. There's more than one path to each goal. The cheat codes make the game like a super cool movie. Fun, fun, and more fun!

A great game.

The PC version is probably the best, but the PS2 version uses the same voices and has updated cut scene graphics. The levels are arranged a bit differently due to the PS2's limited RAM. The graphics in general have been toned down also, but the character models have been improved during gameplay.

It's a great game w/ a good story line. A must have for any gamer in my opinion.Read full review...
