A great touch monitor for very specific applications

If you run a touch-friendly version of Windows like Windows 8 or higher, this monitor will let you interact with your PC more like a tablet. The easel stand lets you position it anywhere from vertical to nearly horizontal, where it's easier to use in touch mode.

Multitouch response is very good. It requires either a DVI or VGA connection for video and a USB connection for touch. Because of the need for flexible positioning, it doesn't use a standard IEC 3-prong power cord, but an AC adapter - don't lose it.

It requires a special VESA mount adapter plate for use on monitor arms; the Dell MSA arms include this plate, I believe.

It can be used with a Mac if you purchase special drivers from Touch-Base, so if you need an alternate input device for Macs this *might* work for you. I purchased this to use in music production to have a touchscreen mixing surface, but most Mac OS applications are mouse-centric and cannot be scaled up adequately for touch use. Unless you can code your own applications, it's easier to use an iOS app like Logic Remote or TouchOSC for this purpose.Read full review

Good pictures but too glossy

The images are very sharp. The only problem is that the screen is too glossy, which is sometimes distracting and sometimes the reflections degrades the image quality. If you are able to position the monitor to minimize the reflections, the images comes out beautiful.Read full review
