It’s a power inverter, works if battery is 3/4 to full charge.
This inverter has a low voltage trio.

Disappointed by DeWalt 1000W Inverter performance

I was expecting more from DeWalt but many other inverters perform better. Once the internal fuse blows, it’s rendered useless because it’s not user serviceable. Actually to can use the 140 Watt portion but not the 1000 Watt portion. Other inverters have their main fuse on the outside which makes it easier to replace.Read full review
