Great Author

This was a great book,I have the others that the author wrote and it really opens your mind and heart, and you wonder how such things can happen to a child.
He forgives, he tries to blank his past out, and goes on with his life.
Constantly he comes up with challenges of his everyday struggles. It is a must read story,to fill you in how a child survives.
Wish we could find all the abused children in our world and reach out to help them, before it is to late.
Most stay quiet because of their fears.
These books are a must read by the Author,Dave Pelzer.
So we can tell children, that they are not alone.

I Love These Books

I personally dont have anything negative to say... I've read A Child Called It and The Lost Boy and Loved them! So I saw this one and decided to buy it.. I'm also looking at the others to buy also... I've looked for these books before and couldnt find them in some book stores... I'm happy I can finally keep reading about the life struggle Dave went through... Its just keeps me going when I think I have hard times... Thanks a bunch and keep writing because I'll keep reading...Read full review...

Privilege of youth

i have read several of Dave's books. Although I can't say that I enjoy the topic, I do enjoy the fact that someone took something terrible that happened in their life and turned it into something manageable and as a learning tool for the rest of society. Dave's accomplishments throughout life just go to show that the mind is a powerful thing.Read full review...

Love the book and it's a great read

Great book very informal. Dave Pelzer went out of this world to bring awareness to the world of what a teenager sometimes goes through. A++ book. Get it for your relatives, teachers, roommates, secret santa etc. etc. etc.Read full review...

the lost boy

I read David's first book, A BOY NAMED IT. I needed to know what happened to David after he was finally taken from his abusive mother and his home. Great second book which helps answer the questions from book one.Read full review...
