Great Nail Gun

I'm a home owner who has spent time in the trades. I've built a few houses and have an endless list of projects. I'd call myself a "prosumer". While I miss the rapid firing of a true air nailer I don't do a ton of large framing jobs and often find myself using a nail gun for hours rather than days which translates to I hardly ever bump and run with a nail gun anyway. On the plus side set up is instant and equipment is minimal with this nailer. I can literally walk over to my project and within minutes pick up where I left off and get to work. Clean up is just as easy. I've only been hanging shiplap boards but the gun drives 2" ring shanks very well. I feel like it requires a little more pressure or weight on the gun than a tradition pneumatic but the trade off is well worth it. Great nailer and I'd certainly recommend it. Read full review...

Ok for soft wood

Works well with spruce, but lacks the power to drive a nail consistently in yellow pine.
I was hoping it would be a good replacement for my older gas operated nailer, but it does not have the same driving power especially with ring shank nails.Read full review...

I love it

One of the things I must say is you are not limited to paslode nails it take any brand nails round head or clipped head they all work great in this gun I tried them all and they work with no problem as long as you have the right angle in it Read full review...

King of the hill

I can't even imagine a better tool works all day if you have a 6 ah battery or larger in bump mode I am just as fast as the guys in our crew using air nailers no problem shooting 3-1/2 inch nails into any type of wood so far as long as the batts are charged it never tires love this toolRead full review...

A bit pricey but worth it.

Does great with Passlode nails but stay away from Grip Rite nails as they tend to jamb up...can’t get more than 3 good shots and then misfires but flawless with Passlode.

Better than expected

Haven’t gotten to use it enough to give a thorough review but it seems great so far. Little disappointed the nail magazine is made out of plastic instead of metal but as long as it holds up it’s fine. Nailed microlambs together with it using 31/2 ring shanks. Drove the nails almost completely flush the head was barely raised above the surface and it was on bump fire shooting at a pretty fast pace. My paslode pneumatic gun wouldnt drive the nails halfway in and they were all curling. Seems like a good tool. Beats paying $20 a cartridge for piece of junk paslodeRead full review...

Heavy, but cordless freedom

Definitely beats lugging around a compressor, hose and listening to a compressor. Load the battery and nails and your ready for action. Fired nails quickly and accurately. Feels heavy compared to a pneumatic nail gun. Read full review...

Cordless freedom

By far this the best cordless nail gun on the market. DeWalt got it right with this nail gun and to date has not jammed. Multiple settings are available based on the nail length so if you're using shorter nails the gun can be dialed down which not only increases battery life but wear and tear. If you have been looking for a cordless nail gun this is it. Very happy with my purchase. Hope this helps.Read full review...
