Cooper SRX waiting to make my mind up

Good looking tires, extremely quite and handles extremely well. My only concern is that the tire installer had to add a lot of weights to balance the tires. 2 of them took up to 8 ounces to get them to balance. Will see if putting some miles on them helps or hurts the balance. Read full review

Very nice tire . But was sad when I had paid to have it mounted unfortunately found a second hole that I had to pay to fix so might’ve been better off buying a new tire

Good, used tire. I had a blowout and just needed one tire to match the others. Worked perfect.

They fit our wheels and are an excellent value for the dollar.

One of the primary items I look for on replacement tires is the treadwear number. For the full size vehicles we drive I want a treadwear of 700 or more. This will result in 60,000 to 70, 000 miles with our driving habits. I have found that there is a ratio of about 1:10 between treadwear numbers and miles. This is not precise but, if you are a conservative driver with more highway miles than city miles it is fairly accurate. Most of the new vehicles we purchase have a tire with a treadwear number of 340 +/-. We are fortunate is we get 35,000 miles before we approach the wear bars.
Since we don't do high speed driving (80 - 120 MPH) speed numbers are less important. Finally traction is good to know but, most tires have adequate traction for a conservative driver in the South, as opposed to someone who drives on icey roads and does high speed manuvering.

Great tire for light/medium duty trucks & SUV's

I purchased four of these tires over a year ago for my Ram 1500 and they're a great tire in every situation I've encountered. They are a tremendous improvement over the stock Goodyear tires. I just purchased four more for my wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee and she was immediately impressed with the reduction in road noise over the stock tires. Read full review
