NES Top 10 Title

Every system has its share of "gems" and Nintendo's NES system sure has a lot of them. Contra has everything a gamer could ask for; good graphics, good gameplay, good music, and good tunes. What made this game even better was 2-player simultaneous action.

This game is hard, but try pressing "UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, B, A, START." on controller 1 at the title screen to achieve 30 lives. Trust me, you'll need it.

The only problem with the game is that it is way too short and that the action is highly repetitive. Still, it is a very fun game to play and is always one of the first games that I recommend to my customers who purchase a NES system from me.Read full review...

Simply a classic!

Contra is just one of those games that brings all the nostalgia back and makes you feel like a kid again (an upset kid, because it is a very difficult game).
