Great option, but didn't reach my expectations
I'd love this trimmer if it came with a pouch or some sort of storage bag and a $2 bottle of oil (which I didn't know I needed until I read the manual). I'd happily pay a bit extra for those two things and have a much more complete product.
As far as the trimmer itself, I cannot achieve the "scruffy two-day stubble look" since the shortest trim is still way too long.

Simple, adequate, but...
This ConAir works okay, but my biggest complaint is the on/off switch - it's too far back toward the cord end. When you hold the trimmer properly to use it, you can't comfortably reach the power switch - it's under the palm of your hand instead of midway on the front so you can just slide your thumb over to turn it off. So, it's still running while you look for the power switch - a potentially dangerous situation in my mind. It also needs another blade guard that cuts closer - the closest one isn't close enough and the alternative is to trim without any guard which is too close. There's nothing in-between. AC vs DC
I have owned the same model conair the blue rechargeable battery one for over 10 yrs it lasted a long time but my beard grows very thick so after a while the battery just couldn't charge enough to cut it, it would slow down and then get stuck in my beard then I dropped it on the floor and broke it so I ordered the red one AC (that's right the plug in one) and WOW there's nothing like it 110 straight up the cord no charging just bam real power to cut through the thickest beard I have a great looking beard now and the power to get creative without worrying about running out of batteries or having to hurry because of useing a rechargeable plus you save on your electric bill because it's not always charging theres a reason the barber uses plug in trimmer and now I know why take my advice and never buy a charger beard trimmer again!!! Best trimmer I've bought.
I'm not sure how a corded trimmer could be any better than this one regardless of the price! It's quiet, handles easy and doesn't have the tendency to bite like many other trimmers do. good price decently sharp blade cuts facial hair good but the tips of the blade are also pointy and sharp and will cut u if your not careful especially trying to line the front of your hair up definitely get some razor burn but for the price they are worth it for facial hair I've never tried my hair I think they're to small for that i would recommend if your just looking to trim your mustache and beard they'll do the jobRead full review...
